The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has ordered the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to place Fuji music icon, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, on a no-fly list. The directive comes amid an ongoing investigation into an incident involving the musician at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Tuesday.

According to the NCAA’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Michael Achimugu, the agency is currently probing a possible security breach involving the artiste during boarding procedures for a flight to Lagos. The incident allegedly disrupted flight VK201 and raised concerns over passenger conduct at airports.

It was reported that K1 De Ultimate attempted to board the aircraft with a gold flask containing an unknown substance. When asked by ground staff to verify the content, the musician allegedly refused, leading to suspicions that the flask contained alcohol, which is prohibited on Nigerian commercial flights.
