A celebrated author, creative director, humanitarian, and founder of multiple brands including; Rosemary Onyekaba once despised geography and found aviation manuals bewildering. Today, she holds the title of Nigeria’s Best Performing Student in IATA Training from the International Air Transport Association.

Not the best in Abuja. Not the best in a cohort. The best in Nigeria.

The creative director and entrepreneur behind BBF Printing Press, Cromstar Studio, BBF Fashion, and BBF Travels & Tours had spent years building platforms for others whilst placing her own aspirations aside.

“I gave up on myself more times than I can count,” she admits. “I thought my dreams were too far gone.”

Confronted with 1,740 pages of aviation manuals, Onyekaba initially felt overwhelmed by technical jargon – “N for Nancy,” “T for Tango” bewildered that alphabets could carry accents. She questioned whether aviation suited storytellers rather than technicians.

Her transformation came through dedicated mentorship and personal determination. “Only God could have done this,” she says emotionally. “He didn’t just surprise me, he announced me.”

Onyekaba credits her trainer for guidance through technical challenges and helping silence inner doubts. “You taught me I belonged in this space,” she reflects.

The achievement represents more than individual success. “This is for every Nigerian girl who ever felt unseen,” she states. “For every creative who feared their passion didn’t belong in technical spaces.”

Her victory demonstrates that destiny transcends conventional expectations and predetermined paths.
