President Bola Tinubu has called on Africans and people of African descent worldwide to strengthen collaboration and unity toward building a future of “promise, honour and dignity for the black race.”

According to a statement today by his Special Adviser Information & Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu at a dinner reception held in his honour by the Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Philip J. Pierre, yesterday night in Castries, urged Africans in the Diaspora to harness technology and innovation to drive meaningful social progress.

The statement added that Members of the Nigerian community in Saint Lucia, some of whom have lived on the Island for over three decades, attended the dinner.

The Prime Minister of Saint Lucia congratulated President Tinubu on the conferment of the award of Knight Commander of the Order of Saint Lucia (KCOSL) during his state visit, describing it as a well-deserved recognition of outstanding leadership.
