Former Osun State Governor and newly appointed National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rauf Aregbesola, has called on party supporters to maintain decorum in political discourse and avoid attacks or insults, even amid political tension.

In a Facebook post shared after his arrival in Lagos, Aregbesola expressed gratitude to ADC members and supporters who welcomed him warmly. He reminded them that the mission ahead is challenging but achievable through discipline, unity, and issue-based engagement.

“Ask them one simple question: Are Nigerians better off today than they were before?” he posed, urging his followers to hold the ruling party accountable using facts on inflation, economic hardship, and worsening poverty.

Aregbesola stressed that the ADC represents a credible alternative for Nigeria’s future and called on party members to confidently promote its message. “Let our debates remain focused on the issues that matter,” he said, ending his message with a rallying cry: “Forward ever. Till victory, always.”
