The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has raised concerns over the Presidency’s Infrastructure Equity report, questioning the accuracy of some listed projects and urging President Bola Tinubu’s administration to ensure transparency and fairness in the distribution of infrastructure across regions.

In a statement issued TODAY, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, alleged that the Tinubu government’s infrastructure report not only reinforced existing suspicions about exclusionary governance but also exposed the administration’s alarming comfort with misleading the public with fake news.

Recall That the Special Adviser to the President on Public Communications and Orientation, Sunday Dare, on Sunday, argued that the broad distribution of infrastructure projects across the country proves President Tinubu is governing in the interest of all Nigerians, not just one region.

However, the ADC countered that both the context and content of the government’s report point less to accountability and more to a hasty propaganda effort aimed at damage control amid growing criticism of the administration’s nepotistic and exclusionary style of governance.
