Victor Osimhen wants at least €60 million annually to make his Galatasaray loan move permanent this summer, according to Turkish football commentator Murat Aşık.
The revelation comes as Galatasaray evaluate their transfer strategy for the Nigerian striker, whose successful loan spell recently concluded.
Aşık disclosed that the Turkish champions have prepared €25 million for Osimhen but warned supporters against criticism if the deal fails. “Koulibaly, a stopper player at Al Hilal, earns €35 million annually,” he explained. “Osimhen also wants a salary of at least €60 million. This is a professional job.”
The commentator urged Galatasaray fans to remain understanding if negotiations collapse, saying: “If he leaves, Galatasaray fans should not say anything.”
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old has requested additional time from club president Abdullah Kavukcu to consider his options. Osimhen remains undecided about his next destination following his impressive temporary stint in Istanbul.
The Nigerian international’s wage demands significantly exceed Galatasaray’s initial budget, potentially complicating negotiations for what would be a marquee signing for Turkish football.
