The House of Representatives has reaffirmed its confidence in the leadership of the Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, saying there is no plan to impeach the speaker.
The Deputy Spokesperson of the House of Representatives, HON. Philip Agbese, WHO made the clarification in a statement TODAY in Abuja, said members remain united behind the Speaker and the leadership team.
Agbese who extolled the speaker’s leadership excellence, said Abbas had maintained outstanding qualities and respect for colleagues.
The Benue lawmaker Agbese described the report as speculative and a calculated attempt to sow discord in the Green Chamber.
Describing the speaker as an exemplary leader, Agbese said he had shown leadership in promoting pro-members welfare and constituencies’ development.
