President Bola Tinubu has strongly condemned the lynching of 12 travellers in Plateau State and the recent suicide bombing in Konduga, Borno State, describing both incidents as barbaric and cowardly.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President emphasized that the freedom of movement of all citizens remains non-negotiable and called for swift action by security agencies to apprehend the perpetrators.

Reacting to the Konduga attack, Tinubu directed security forces to intensify efforts in flushing out remnants of Boko Haram insurgents, urging the police and intelligence agencies to work in synergy to bring the attackers to justice.

He extended his condolences to the governments and people of Plateau and Borno States, reassuring Nigerians that his administration remains committed to securing every part of the country.
