President Bola Tinubu has reinstated Salihu Abdullahi Dembos as Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA.
Mr Dembos, appointed in October 2023, had briefly vacated the post following changes at the station, but will now return to complete his three-year term.
The President has also directed that Ayo Adewuyi be recalled as Executive Director of News. His tenure runs until 2027.
The move cancels recent appointments of a new director-general, executive director of news, marketing director, and the managing director of NTA Enterprises.
Presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga confirmed the directive in a statement issued in Abuja.
